Adult Book Discussion is Returning!

The 2nd Monday Adult Book Discussion group will resume meeting on September 13!  After 16 years as the facilitator for the group, Fern Miner is stepping down from that role.  She will, however, continue to participate.  Thank you, Fern, for your many years of dedication to the group!

Stepping into the role will be staff member Kathy Bowen.  Her very first selection by one of her favorite authors, Catherine Ryan Hyde, is entitled Stay.

Join us on Monday, September 13 at 1:30 in meeting room 116 to share thoughts and ideas on this title. Copies will be available to check out the week of August 9.

In this coming of age novel the narrator Lucas Painter describes how a single incident changed the trajectory of his entire life.  As a fifty-year-old, Lucas looks back on the summer of 1969 when four very different personalities forged a friendship based on the idea that it did not matter what happened in a person’s past, there was always hope for the future.
