In the 1990s David Guinn walked many of the cemeteries in the Sugar Creek Township area of Boone County. Before he died, he gave the Thorntown Public Library all rights to his information to use as we wished. We have decided that the best possible way to use this information is to place it on the Guinn Local History & Genealogy page for the public’s use.

Our own Boone County cemetery records database has been compiled over the past few years. There are almost 15,000 entries in the database that include past and current residents of Boone County. The information has come from cemetery records, newspapers and funeral home books. The database is printed every five years and updated online annually. It is listed below as Boone County Residents as a searchable PDF.
